🌇 Yosemite Valley Sunset Walk
Experience the enchanting transition of day to night as the setting sun casts a golden glow on Yosemite's iconic granite formations. This family-friendly, two-hour walk offers insights into the park's natural and cultural history, making it a perfect evening activity for visitors. Available from March 20 through June 10 and August 20 through November 22.
🌌 Explore Yosemite's Night Sky
Discover the wonders of the cosmos in one of the best stargazing locations, thanks to Yosemite Valley's minimal light pollution. Using laser pointers, naturalists will guide you through the night sky, highlighting stars, planets, and constellations, while sharing scientific facts and cultural stories. This program runs from March 20 through November 22.
🐦 Birding in Yosemite Valley
Join a leisurely morning walk to observe and learn about the diverse bird species that inhabit Yosemite Valley. Naturalists will help you identify various birds by sight and sound during this easy-paced, one- to two-mile walk on flat terrain. Binoculars are available if needed. Scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays from March 24 through June 9.
🦌 Birding and Wildlife Walk in Yosemite Valley
Delve into the behaviors and habitats of Yosemite's wildlife on this informative walk. Participants will look for animals and the signs they leave behind, learning about the park's rich biodiversity. This family-friendly program covers about two miles on flat ground and is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from March 24 through June 9.
